Plugin House is proud to partner with The Other Ones Foundation (TOOF) and Austin Community College (ACC) in an innovative initiative that offers new horizons for TOOF’s Esperanza Community. The TOOF Skills Center, operated by ACC’s HVAC and Welding Technology program, will provide training and certification opportunities in HVAC, welding, and more. Set within a non-congregate emergency shelter complex for individuals experiencing homelessness, the Skills Center is designed to uplift lives through education and skill development.

Our role in this transformative project involves constructing the Skills Center interior using our state-of-the-art Plugin House prefabricated building system. These energy-efficient classrooms are not just spaces for learning; they foster a supportive environment where community members can thrive. We are excited to see this project come to fruition with an anticipated completion in Fall 2024.
